As the evening continued everyone loosened up. Plied with good food, cheap beer and wine, and a little spiked punch (don't panic - it really wasn't) everyone continued to visit, look at the wedding memorabilia and prepare to dance the rest of the night away. Dad even donned his skirt (oops, I mean petticoat) again to get ready to dosey-do and bow to his partner...
Jessie and Steff encouraged him....
...and then even practiced dancing with him...
...others just visited and missed Dad's silliness...
...and Mom looked over the wedding memories with a friend...
..and marveled at how tiny her wedding dress was...
...Steve gave the word to the caller that the dancing could start any time...
...and Steff was excited...
...and she discussed how the whole square dancing concept worked with Kevin, Jessie and Chris
...Jessie politely asked Kevin to dance with her...
...and when he agreed she started leading him toward the dance floor. Actually it didn't take much prompting.
Dan realized it was going to be a thirsty business so he go ready with more beer...
...or maybe he was just hiding so he didn't have to dance...
